Overview
Several filter stages are combined for efficient filtration performance:
- mechanical filtration: for the removal of suspended particles and visible dirt
- biological filtration: supports the decomposition of organic substances by beneficial bacteria
- optional chemical filtration: for the removal of impurities such as medication residues
- The filter baskets of the BioMaster² Thermo 850 can be fitted with different filter media. Whether sponges, bio-granulate or activated carbon - design the filtration according to the specific needs of your aquarium.
